Hospital Career Day Makes Headlines

On March 31st, Northeast Iowa AHEC invited students from area high schools to Allen Hospital to learn about the different health career opportunities and the increasing demand for qualified healthcare professionals. Juniors and seniors from Denver and Waterloo East, West and Expo high schools explored the emergency room, the inside of an ambulance and the operating room. The event was a great success and was featured in the April 1st edition of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.
