Central Iowa AHEC Holding Community Forum in Jefferson

Central Iowa AHEC is hosting a community forum on July 16th from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. Community leaders from Greene County, as well as the other seven counties in Central Iowa's catchment area, are invited to help identify the following:

  • Healthcare provider shortages and issues in providing service in underserved areas.
  • Current activities in K-12 school systems, universities and community colleges that provide education and experiences that encourage students to enter healthcare careers.
  • Clinical education and continuing education opportunities and needs.
