Central Iowa AHEC and Broadlawns Medical Center are presenting the second class in a series of continuing education courses focusing on cultural diversity. "Cultural Diversity and Aging in America" explores managing and caring for the older adult population cross-culturally with sensitivity. Yogesh Shah, M.D., FAAFP, CMD, is the faculty for the workshop. Dr. Shah is the associate dean of global health at Des Moines University and is triple board certified in family medicine, geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine.
