Central Iowa AHEC Community Forum Set for May 14th

Central Iowa AHEC is hosting a community forum on May 14 from 7:30–9 a.m. at Broadlawns Medical Center and needs your help in identifying:

  • Healthcare provider shortages and issues in providing service in underserved areas.
  • Current activities in K-12 school systems, universities and community colleges that provide education and experiences that encourage students to enter healthcare careers.
  • Clinical education and continuing education opportunities and needs.

Central Iowa AHEC serves eight counties: Boone, Dallas, Greene, Guthrie, Jasper, Polk, Poweshiek and Story. All community leaders from these counties are invited to attend.
